DAY 6

“In this game, no matter what you are doing, deem it FUN! Find the joy in it. Pretend you’re on vacation.” Pam Grout

Pam says, ” When you get happy, when you open your joy channels, the largesse of the universe can’t help but rush in.”

If you are joining in with Pam Grout and THANK AND GROW RICH party games!

This morning start with your AA 2.0 upgrade and then add,

“Say thank you for every single thing that happens. No matter what!”

Gratitude Party Games (con’t)

And the games continue! This month we are following Pam Grout’s THANK AND GROW RICH! Today we are preparing for day four (tomorrow). I aim to get the next day game out the night before!

DAY 4

Be grateful for insignificant and impractical things!

“When you’re on the frequency of joy and gratitude, the universe is free to line things up, work things out, pull rabbits out of hats.” Pam Grout

The Power of Gratitude

Welcome to the 2017 GRATITUDE CHALLENGE! This is our 11th year of running this little happy challenge, but the first year we are running both the little booklets of gratitude AND doing the party games from Pam Grout’s THANK AND GROW RICH: 30 day experiment in shameless gratitude and unabashed joy. If you have not had the pleasure of reading this book, or trying out her universal games from her others, don’t miss out!

DAY ONE PARTY GAME: 2 steps
EVERY MORNING BEFORE RISING
step 1: Admit that “something amazingly awesome is going to happen to me today!”
step 2: Come to believe in blessings and miracles
Each morning, no matter how you feel or what is happening, say it to yourself or better out loud! Come on you KNOW you can!

perception and chemistry

DAY TWO PARTY GAME:

SO for tomorrow, collect photos of all of the wonderful things in your life be they your home, people you love, things special to you etc and make a VISION BOARD of all the things you ALREADY HAVE and are truly grateful for. WHY? Because “when you give up your linear worldview, your playground expands.”

AWESOME Right?

So next day is day three….

DAY THREE

Choose to actively ‘allow’ everything that occurs in your life, whether its mundane or ordinary. i.e.: I allow the sun to shine through my window. Or, I allow this lovely spearmint toothpaste to freshen my mouth.

“Cultivate a childlike attitude towards your creations. Ponder them, wonder about them, but most of all love them. That’s how you claim dominion over your life. Behold I have created this, and I call it good.” Pam Grout

Spend some time working the allowing muscle to help in your larger life manifestations!

There will be more to follow as the days come. There are 30 days of party games to work your way through! I highly advise buying the book and taking part, you really get the background and the great energy through from Pam Grout as she writes and shares the journey through how to practice gratitude in your life.

Strep throat?

This is a great article on how to deal with a strep throat infection more naturally, vs using antibiotics.  Strep can have varying strains, and if left to its own devices in a system with low immunity, it can cause other more serious things to happen.

However, keeping the immune system strong and vital means that your body will just need extra support to show who’s boss! My daughter recently had a huge episode, and with a combination of chiropractic adjusting, loads of manuka honey and ginger tea, and a single dose of belladonna at bed time, it was gone the next day when she woke.  That infection took 24 hours to disappear.  Her system needed support not suppression.  Allowing her to deal with the infection by allowing her own body to form antibodies to fight the infection means that she probably won’t suffer again with it, her body will instantly recognise it and kill it off.  Both of my girls are really good at running 40C fevers too, their bodies are just amazing!  Chronic overuse of antibiotics means that the body will always have a lowered immunity.  It’s simply the very last choice after every natural method has been exhausted.  Neither of my children have ever had antibiotics.

Have a read and let me know what you think.

The Wellness Couch…Australian Style..

At the UCA spring conference last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting and listening to Dr Brett Hill, one of the Wellness Couch docs.  Having recently written and published his first book, How to Eat An Elephant (http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Eat-Elephant-solutions-lifelong-ebook/dp/B007JK5F7C/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1395607833&sr=1-2&keywords=how+to+eat+an+elephant), he has also been heavily involved in the downloadable and very listenable series of podcasts about health and wellness with his two colleagues Laurence Tham, Damian Kristof, and Marcus Pearce.  Have a listen, you won’t be disappointed!

Got a Challenged Child? Watch this….

This story has been making the rounds today, about an Indiana family who moved to Canada, with their son who was diagnosed with Autism.  Remarkable story, have a watch of the video.

More school?

I came across this lovely article by Dr Peter Gray a few weeks ago, and his lovely description of what it was like to be a child in the 1950s resonated with me and my childhood in the late 70s. We really did have a lot of freedom, and a lot of physical activity.  We ran about in our local “street gangs” of kids of various ages on bikes or on foot, we built snow forts in the middle of the street circle with the tonnes of snow we had, fought wars, strategized capture the flag in teams, and grew in ways kids these days don’t seem to.  Academia has a place, I think the basic life skills of maths, reading and writing empower young children to grow and make good and better choices for themselves. Longer hours and more days at school are simply not the answer.

Spending time with adults who are chained to desks or working all the hours God sends leads to a serious imbalance in life, health and family relationships.  It’s time to right the balance, and that begins with allowing our children to truly be children.

Enjoy the read and watch the little video.
